AI Redefined x Mila: Announcing Our New Strategic Partnership!
We are thrilled to announce that we have formed a new strategic partnership with Mila, the world’s largest deep learning institute. This partnership will continue AIR’s mission of supporting the next generation of research on human-AI collaboration, including in its home city of Montreal.
“AI Redefined is proud to be part of the Montreal AI ecosystem. Our partnership with Mila will enable us to help fuel new research to democratize important AI training methods like multi-agent reinforcement learning – all in our home city,” noted Dorian Kieken, the President of AIR.
Partnering with Mila is the latest example of AIR’s expanding research footprint. Other recent milestones include:
Making our Cogment platform faster and easier to use with ongoing new releases, like Cogment Verse;
Being selected as a Startup/SME Laureate by Confiance.ai, the French government’s #AIforHumanity initiative, in December 2021, kickstarting a research collaboration focused on trustworthy AI;
Sponsoring the ALA-Cogment Challenge at AAMAS in February 2022;
Hiring Matthew E. Taylor of the University of Alberta and the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii) as Research Director and Jordy Berson (formerly CEO of BitTorrent) as Chief Product Officer in May 2022.
